A cette occasion, l\u2019ASBL Schuman Square, animera la rue de la Loi\ntransform\u00e9e en espace de rencontres conviviales et &nbsp;transformera&nbsp; le\nrond-point Schuman en grande boulangerie europ\u00e9enne. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Comment\nun simple m\u00e9lange de farine et d\u2019eau au d\u00e9part a pu devenir un met de choix\ndans la plupart des cultures du monde. La cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 des boulangers, le savoir-\nfaire des cuisiniers et la demande des consommateurs vigilants en ont fait la\nvedette de toutes les tables, de tous les moments de convivialit\u00e9.\nL\u2019imagination est infinie depuis la s\u00e9lection des semences, les c\u00e9r\u00e9ales et\nleur couleur, le choix de l\u2019eau, les aspects nutritifs ou les r\u00e9gimes, les\nmoyens de cuisson du four \u00e0 bois ou en terre cuite ou de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le\npain, aliment f\u00e9d\u00e9rateur par excellence, exprime la diversit\u00e9 europ\u00e9enne et\npermet la participation active et enthousiaste de tr\u00e8s larges fili\u00e8res\nprofessionnelles.&nbsp; Pour cette 5\u00e8me\n\u00e9dition, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de nombreux belges, nous voyagerons&nbsp;dans le vaste monde\nde de la boulangerie et illustrerons la\nmultitude de sp\u00e9cialit\u00e9s r\u00e9gionales&nbsp;venues de Hongrie, Lettonie, Lituanie,\nAllemagne, Italie, Irlande, Scandinavie, Gr\u00e8ce, Bulgarie, malte, Espagne,\nFrance&nbsp; et bien d\u2019autres. Nous\nirons jusqu\u2019en Inde o\u00f9 la tradition du pain tr\u00e8s ancienne est historique. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Commission s\u2019interrogera sur les d\u00e9fis pos\u00e9s par la renaissance des c\u00e9r\u00e9ales en milieux rural et pour souligner l\u2019importance de la lutte anti gaspi nous pr\u00e9senterons de la bi\u00e8re \u00e0 base de pain et une super machine le &nbsp;CRUMBLER qui transformera des invendus en farine de pain elle-m\u00eame transform\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des recettes d\u00e9licieuses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les enfants seront invit\u00e9s \u00e0 cuire leur pain sur\nplace et \u00e0 d\u00e9couvrir de nombreux jeux&nbsp;: escalade, trampoline, karting, \u00ab&nbsp;aquabulles&nbsp;\u00bb\n(si vous ne savez pas ce que c\u2019est, venez voir) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019esplanade de la rue de la Loi, entre le Conseil et\nla Commission, sera color\u00e9e par les drapeaux des Etats Membres et les arbres de\nBruxelles,&nbsp; Elle accueillera une\nanimation interactive sur le th\u00e8me des nouveaux moyens de d\u00e9placement en milieu\nurbain qui peuvent favoriser l\u2019intermodalit\u00e9 . Les visiteurs pourront tester &nbsp;les gyropodes, monoroues, trottinettes \u00e9lectriques\navec les conseils&nbsp; de\nprofessionnels de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur la mani\u00e8re de les utiliser dans la\ncirculation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous vous invitons nombreux \u00e0 venir d\u00e9couvrir cet\n\u00e9ventail de plaisirs qui accompagnent le pain&nbsp;: vins, fromages,\ncharcuteries, d\u00e9licatesses diverses et <strong>trottinettes<\/strong>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marion Wolfers<\/p>\n\n\n\n[ngg src=\u00a0\u00bbgalleries\u00a0\u00bb ids=\u00a0\u00bb13&Prime; display=\u00a0\u00bbbasic_thumbnail\u00a0\u00bb]\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>The \u2018F\u00eate du Pain\u2019 Bread Festival\nand accompanying products<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In cooperation with EU Open Doors Day, Saturday 4 MAY 2019, 10.00 am &gt; 21.00 pm. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday May 4, 2019, the\nSchuman roundabout on Rue de la Loi will become an international bakery for the\nextraordinary and unmissable annual bread festival \u2018La F\u00eate du Pain\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This will take place on the day\nthe European Institutions open their doors to the public. All of you should\ncome and visit the buildings where so many initiatives are taken every day that\nshape our common future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the part of the Bread Fair we\nwill showcase how a simple, basic mixture of flour and water has become a first\nchoice food in most cultures in Europe and also in many countries in the world.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We invite you all to come and\ndiscover the creativity of the bakers, the know-how of the cooks and the demand\nand enthusiasm of the consumers. Together they have helped to make bread become\nthe star of most tables in our everyday lives or during the most convivial and\nenjoyable occasions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innovations are\nendless at all stages of baking from the selection of seeds, cereals and their\ncolour, to the choice of water used, to the nutritional aspects of the diets,\nto the method of cooking, be it over a wood fire, in a terracotta oven or more\ncommonly un our countries, with an electric oven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bread also\nshowcases the diversity of Europe and enables the active and enthusiastic\nparticipation of very large professional sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will of course have local Belgian bakers , but we will also take you on a journey through the vast world of the bakery and illustrate the multitude of regional specialties: Hungarian, Lithuanian, Estonian , German, Italian, Irish, Latvian, Scandinavian, Greek, Bulgarian (bread cooked in red wine!!), Maltese, Spanish and many more. Our trip will even bring us as far as India where the tradition of bread is very old and historic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commission will highlight the challenges posed by the revival of cereals in rural areas and we will emphasise the importance of the fight against waste:&nbsp; a machine known as a&nbsp; CRUMBLER&nbsp; will transform unsold bread into flour with which delicious recipes will be prepared, bread-based beers.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A special zone will be reserved for children. They&nbsp; will enjoy many games: climbing wall, trampoline, karting,\u201d aquabulles\u201d &nbsp;&nbsp;(if you do not know what this means, come and discover\u2026.)&#8230;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The esplanade&nbsp; Rue de la Loi, between the Council and\nthe Commission,&nbsp;&nbsp; will host an\ninteractive animation based on the theme of new urban\nmobility. It will\npromote the use of different types of new eco-friendly transport in our daily commute.
